Changing the date of a sale

You may occasionally have a situation where you need to change the date of a sale. It is important to remember that a Sale and a Payment can both have different dates, so you may need to change one or both of them.

Assuming the sale has been completed you will first need to reverse the payment so it is back in draft status. To do that https://help.youreontime.com/article/204-deleting-a-payment

To change the date of the sale choose the correct date from the date picker on the top right of the sales screen.

Then complete the sale as you would a normal sale. When the payment screen appears you can change the date of the payment on there before reprocessing the payment.
