Adding and changing appointments

Adding a new appointment

  1. In the Appointments screen, click in the column of the staff member at the time you want to book the appointment. In this example we are booking a 12:00pm appointment with Michelle.
  2. Select Add Appointment option from the menu that follows.
  3. Enter the name of your client to look them up from the database, or create a new client if necessary.
  4. Select the service the client wants to make an appointment for. Let's choose Full Colour - Medium for this example.
  5. Click on Confirm Service
  6. The selected service now appears on the right along with the total price. You can add additional services as per steps 4 & 5, if required. Click Save Appointment when you are done.
  7. You will be returned to the Appointments screen where the appointment is now visible.

Note: You can also add an appointment using the the plus (+) button at the top right of the Appointments Screen and then clicking on the name of the staff member you want to add the booking for.

Changing the time of an appointment

  1. From the Appointments Screen, click on the appointment you want to edit.
  2. From the slide-out menu, click on Edit Appointment.
  3. Click on the Edit button to make changes to the service. In this example we are changing the customer's Full Colour - Medium appointment from 12pm to 1pm.
  4. Select the new Start Time then click Confirm Service.
  5. The appointment time has now been updated in Selected Services. Click Save Appointment to save your changes and exit back to the Appointments Screen.

Note: You can also drag and drop an appointment to a different time or staff member within the Appointments screen. You can even change the length of the appointment by dragging the edge of the appointment block.

Changing an appointment date

  1. In the Appointments screen, click on the appointment you want to reschedule to display the side menu. Then click Move Appointment.
  2. A small notification will appear in the lower right corner to say that the appointment has been copied to the clipboard.
  3. Navigate to the date you want to reschedule the appointment for, and click on the schedule as if you were creating a new appointment, only this time click Move Appointment From Clipboard. In this example we are moving the appointment to the following Monday at the same time with the same staff member.
  4. The appointment has now moved to the new date and time.

Removing a service from an appointment

  1. In the Appointments screen, click on the appointment to display the side menu. Then click Edit Appointment.
  2. Click on the Delete button (trash icon) next to the service you want to remove. Then click Save Appointment.
  3. The appointment has now been updated.

Changing the price for an appointment

  1. In the Appointments screen, click on the appointment to display the side menu. Then click Edit Appointment.
  2. Click on the Edit button (pencil icon) next to the service you want to adjust. This will display the editing menu for the service.
  3. Update the price and click Confirm Service. You can also adjust the length of the appointment here if required.
  4. The price has now been updated for the appointment. Click Save Appointment to return to the Appointments screen.
  5. After Sending to Sale, you can see the original price, discount and total in the Sales screen.

Creating an appointment for two staff at the same time

When creating or editing an appointment you can choose which staff member to allocate the booking to. It is also possible to assign individual services to different staff members. 

In this example our staff member Michelle has already got a booking for the customer for a Full Colour - Medium at 1pm. Lets add a Medium Ladies Cut to this booking and allocate it to our other staff member Desi

  1. Edit or create a new appointment as shown in the steps above. 
  2. In the Appointment Editing screen click on a service from the list. 
  3. Select the Staff Member from the drop-down menu and click Confirm Service. Click Save Appointment to return to the Appointments screen.
  4. The appointment has now been split between the two staff members.

Note: You can also drag and drop an appointment to a different time or staff member within the Appointments screen. You can even change the length of the appointment by dragging the edge of the appointment block.
