Generating email templates with AI

Overview

The marketing email editor and email template editor both include a "Generate with AI" button that creates a ready-to-use HTML email template for you. Just tell it the occasion, tone, and style you want, and it writes a complete, personalised email — including your business's merge fields (client name, appointment details, booking links, etc.) — that you can review, tweak, and send.

Where to find it

• Marketing Email campaign editor — when composing a bulk or individual marketing email, look for the Generate with AI button next to Select Template.
• Email Template editor — when creating or editing a saved email template, the same Generate with AI button appears next to Select Template.

How to use it

1. Click Generate with AI.
2. Fill in the options:

• Occasion — e.g. General, Birthday, Christmas, New Year, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Black Friday.
• Tone — Casual, Friendly, Professional, or Formal.
• Style — Minimal, Bold, Elegant, or Playful.
• Promotion / message details — a short free-text description of what the email is about, e.g. "20% off all colour services booked before Friday". Leave this blank for a general seasonal message with no specific offer.
• Accent colour (optional) — a hex colour code (e.g. #FF5733 ) if you want the buttons and headings to match your brand colour.

1. Click Generate.
2. A preview of the generated email appears.

Making adjustments

Not quite right? You don't need to start over.

1. In the preview, type an instruction into the Make adjustments box — for example "make it bolder", "use more colour", "shorten the intro", or "add more urgency".
2. Click Make Adjustments.
3. A new preview appears with your requested change applied. You can repeat this as many times as you like.
4. Once you're happy with the result, click Insert to place it into the editor.

Good to know

• The generated email automatically includes your merge fields (like client name, booking links, and the required unsubscribe/disclaimer text) — you don't need to add these yourself.
• Generating or adjusting a template does not send anything — it only fills in the editor. You still review, edit if needed, and send (or save) exactly as you normally would.
• If something goes wrong during generation, you'll see an error message — just try again.
• You can still make manual edits to the generated HTML afterwards using the normal editor toolbar.
