Uploading Client Info to MailChimp
If you're looking to use Mailchimp for email marketing, you'll first need to export your client list from You'reOnTime and import it into Mailchimp. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you through the process.

- From the main menu in You'reOnTime, go to Marketing.
- Then click on Create a New Campaign.
- Click on the Filter button to refine the client list if needed.
- Once the list is ready, click Export in the bottom-left corner.
- Your contacts will download as a CSV file named
clients.csv
.

- Open mailchimp.com and log in to your account.
- Go to the Audience section.
- Click Add Contacts, then choose Import Contacts.
Step 3: Choose the Import Method
- Select Upload a file (CSV or TXT format).

- Choose whether to update any existing contacts (use this if you have imported into Mailchimp before).
- Once this is complete, click Continue.
- Add tags to the clients that are going to be imported. This can be useful for grouping specific clients you would like to send emails to, similar to the method used in You'reOnTime.
- Click Continue.
Step 6: Map Your Fields
- Mailchimp will ask you to map the fields (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Email).
- Make sure each column from your CSV matches the correct Mailchimp field.
- Adjust if needed and click Continue..
Step 7: Finalize and Import
- Choose whether these clients should be marked as subscribed. Since you plan to send emails to them, make sure this is set to Subscribed.
- Click Finalize Import.
- You will now be able to review the number of contacts that have been added to Mailchimp and click Complete Import.
That’s it! Your You'reOnTime clients are now available in Mailchimp, and you’re ready to begin sending out your email campaigns.
