Customising Self Check In

If you want to change how your Self Check In looks and functions, you can! Follow the easy steps below to change the check in options, add a Virtual Queue, and change your styling. 

Options

Here you can choose the options available when a client uses the self check in.

  1. Go to Settings then click on Check In under the Appointments heading.
  2. Here you can select the options available to the clients on the self check in kiosk.

    Options are available for:
    - Enabling check in
    - Creating new appointments (walk-ins)
    - Selecting appointment times and staff members
    - Displaying staff photos
    - Messaging staff when clients check in for their booking
  3. You can also add a custom disclaimer that will be displayed on check-in.
  4. Click Save to commit your changes.

Required Fields

Here you can choose which information your clients need to provide.

  1. Go to Settings then click on Check In under the Appointments heading.
  2. Scroll down to the Required Fields section. Select which information is required from your clients when creating a new client profile via self check in.
  3. Click Save to commit your changes.

Virtual Queue

As the name suggests, Virtual Queue will keep track of checked-in clients and SMS your clients when it is time for them to return for their appointment.

  1. Go to Settings then click on Check In under the Appointments heading.
  2. Scroll down to the Virtual Queue section. Enable the feature by ticking the check-box to use the Virtual Queue.
  3. Choose whether the position in the queue relates to their chosen staff member or their position overall.
  4. You can then choose your options for when the SMS is sent, and what the message text contains. Note: Messages of more than 160 characters in length will use 2 or more message credits.  
  5. Click Save to commit your changes.

Custom Styles

Here you can change the look of your Check In and Queue display using CSS.

  1. Go to Settings then click on Check In under the Appointments heading.
  2. Scroll down to the Custom Styles section. Here you can add custom CSS to change the appearance of your Check In screen and/or Wall Board. Note: If you need assistance with your custom styles please contact support@youreontime.com.
  3. Click Save to commit your changes.
